The Ballynantybeg Post Office, which operated from the Watch House Cross Shopping Centre, also temporarily closed and those in receipt of Department of Social Protection payments were advised to collect them from Caherdavin Post Office.“Many rumours circulating regarding the possible permanent closure of the service. A Post Office in the Watch House Cross provides an important service to many people in Moyross, Ballynanty and across the Northside.Many old age pensioners and unemployed people without their own transport have to journey to Caherdavin Post Office to claim their benefits,” he explained.
