Watch Phil Lesh & Friends Recreate Classic 1992 Grateful Dead Show [Full Video]

first_imgBeloved bassist Phil Lesh continued his celebration of Grateful Dead history last week, following his year-by-year recreation of Dead shows with an homage to 1992. The show in question came on December 16th, 1992, when the Grateful Dead performed at the Oakland Coliseum. Now 24 years later, Lesh put together an all-star crew and covered the show from top to bottom. With a band of Terrapin Crossroads all-stars that include Stu Allen, Scott Guberman, Ezra Lipp, Alex Koford, and Grahame Lesh, the group dug into the material with the opening number of “Feel Like A Stranger.” The show featured the rarity “Same Thing,” a tune penned by Willie Dixon, as well as a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again.” Other highlights from the performance include a great “Shakedown Street” to open the second set, as well as a jammed out “Playin’ In The Band” to lead the group into “Drums/Space.”Thanks to GratefuLSD25 .5 on YouTube, we can watch full video of this great performance.
