BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — At Berger’s Ski and Snowboard shop in Downtown Binghamton, ski and snowboarding equipment is everywhere. He adds that he believes a lot of people who haven’t skied in a while most likely will this year. And says that more people will want to stay local to ski, instead of flying out west. He also says skiing is an attractive option this year since it is a natually, socially distant sport: you wear gloves, mask, and are feet apart from others, when you are wearing your skis. But Owner James Sherrick, says it all might be gone sooner than you think. Sherrick says that compared to last year’s sales, this year, sales have almost doubled. He says people have been purchasing everything from skis, to snowboards, to even cross country skis.
