JV girls grow together

first_imgBAR HARBOR — The Mount Desert Island high School girls’ junior varsity basketball team made good strides during the season just past, according to head JV coach Kirk Lurvey. They finished the year with a 10-9 record against some tough competition that featured many players – known as “swing” players – who played at both the JV and varsity levels.The final contest of the season was a JV invitational tourney at Sumner High School.
